More than 18 years ago, Mr. Salamone had a dream of impacting and changing the world through our youth. A dream of empowering young leaders, and giving them the knowledge and skills to achieve their dreams and goals, and to make a significant contribution to the world. A dream that would affect the lives of tens of thousands of teenagers all across America and across the globe.
Today, that dream is LeadAmerica! Over 50,000 young leaders, have been empowered and changed for the better as a result of the leadership programs that Mr. Salamone founded. Today, those alumni serve important roles in the world as doctors, lawyers, professors, politicians, judges, business leaders, teachers and much, much more.
Mr. Salamone attended college on a full basketball scholarship, where he received his degree in business and economics. A lawyer by education and profession, Mr. Salamone graduated 3rd in his law school class receiving magna cum laude and law review honors. He has had an incredibly successful career as a corporate attorney and trial lawyer. During his 18-year career, he has represented athletes, celebrities and corporate executives – as well as taking on many pro-bono cases in which he helped people who could not otherwise afford representation.
Mr. Salamone is the Founder and former President of the National Institute for Legal Education and the Bar-Bri Law Prep Program. He has taught at Loyola Law School in Chicago and Nova Law School in Florida, and has lectured at universities across the country including Stanford, University of Texas, Colombia, American University, and Harvard.
Mr. Salamone has served on the advisory boards of several multi-national corporations and non-profit organizations including the Florence Fuller Child Development Centers and the International Advisory Board for Bentley College.
Mr. Salamone is Chairman of the LeadAmerica Foundation. Over the years, he has donated and provided hundreds of thousands of dollars for education and leadership development. As a result of this generosity, each year nearly 100 outstanding young women from across the US and abroad attend GirlsLead, a conference sponsored and fully-funded by Mr. Salamone and the LeadAmerica Foundation.
